PRIVACY POLICY & GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE OF THE MOBILE APPLICATION “BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB”
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of service is to explain the ways and conditions of use of the
services offered by the mobile “BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB”, as well as to define rights and duties of the parties in
framework of its use.
The present conditions of use are available and printable on the web site www.poste.dz.They can be completed and/or modified, if necessary, by further special terms of use. In case of conflict, the special terms of use shall take precedence.
The use of the mobile application «BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB” is submitted to the general terms and conditions described below:
The mobile application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB", owned by “Algérie Poste”, is put at the disposal of Users by “Algérie Poste”, the Public Industrial and Commercial Establishment, whose Head Office is located in The Business Quartier, Bab Ezzouar, Algiers, PB 201, www.poste.dz, which is registered in The Trade Register under the number 02B0021044.
As a user and with the setting up and the use of "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" application, you fully and absolutely agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Use.
You are called to not settle or use the "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" application if necessary, and in this case, “Algérie Poste” disclaims all its responsibility for any litigation or contentious matter that may happen.
The term "Mobile Application" indicates the IT software "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB” which is developed by “Algérie Poste”, provided to Users on the virtual Stores and downloadable on the fitting mobiles.
The Mobile application “BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB” contains the following parts:
* Texts, graphs, pictures, photographs, logos, marks and illustrations, etc that “Algérie Poste” is holder
or duly authorized to use by its partners.
* A set of functionalities allowing to reach many services
offered by “Algérie Poste”.
* Hypertext links to reach content lodged on web sites. However, “Algérie Poste” is in no way responsible about these web sites.
The access to the services offered by the Mobile Application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" is granted to individuals associated in this application and holding both Postal Current Account and the electronic banking card (EDAHABIA) issued by “Algérie Poste”.
The application, put to your disposal, allows you to:
- View in real time your postal current accounts’ balance.
- Check the statement of your last 10 transactions realized by the electronic banking card issued by “Algérie Poste” (or check the mini statement).
- Request an application in opposition or a right of release of your electronic banking card (blocking / unblocking).
- Make transfers from your postal current account to other postal currents accounts, which owners hold “EDAHABIA” banking card.
- Perform mobile phone refills via your postal current account.
- Pay your bills.
- Geo locate the ATM’s of “Algérie Poste”.
- Geo locate the post offices.
- Access useful information provided by specialized websites.
- Receive advertising contents.
The features listed are not complete. “Algérie Poste” will update regularly this mobile application by adding other new services.
7- THE APPLICATION AVAILABALITY
The official mobile application "BARIDIMOB " is available on Google Play and App Store.
“Algérie Poste” declines any responsibility and cannot be held liable for the consequences regarding the use of other copies imitating the same functionalities of this application.
To access and use the application, the user must:
- Own a well-matched phone or mobile terminal.
- Have an access to the Internet.
- Have a customer account in a virtual store, at one of the mobile application provider (Google Play).
The minimum requirements of the phone or mobile device:
- Operating system under Android 5.5 or higher.
The application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" is available 24h/7, except in cases of force majeure where “Algérie Poste” undertakes updating or carrying out the necessary maintenance operations for the proper functioning. Maintenance operations may be performed without informing the user beforehand.
Algérie Poste cannot be held responsible for:
- The impossibility for any reason to the user, to access the application.
- If the user's internet connection was interrupted.
The BARIDIMOB application collects the following data: :
These data are collected solely for the functionalities offered to the user and are transmitted to Algérie
Poste in a secure manner via the HTTPS protocol.
No data is shared with third parties. For security measures and fraud prevention, it is not possible to
request the permanent deletion of this information.
9.1 SUBSCRIPTION FEES
- The application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" is free downloadable on "Google Play".
- The services of the mobile application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" are proposed excluding subscription fees from the mobile telephony Operator, not including connection and Internet access costs and without any extra additional costs about data’s loading.
- The cost of subscribing to the services offered by "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" application is billed monthly.
- The cost of the subscription is deducted monthly from the subscripter postal current account.

9.2 SERVICE RATES
The rates related to many services provided in "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" application have been set in accordance with the Provisions of The Executive Decree Numb. 14-299 dated on 27th Dhou El Hidja 1435, corresponding to October 21st, 2014 setting the postal services & postal financial services tariffs.
The application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB", its features and its content are all protected by the rights under and related to intellectual property. All rights of reproduction and representation are reserved, including for downloadable documents.
All texts, graphics, icons, photographs, plans, logos, videos, sounds, brands, and more generally all the elements composing the mobile application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" can’t be subject of any representation, copying, use or drawing out in whole or in part on any media whatever, without a clear and prior agreement of “Algérie Poste”.
The infringement of these provisions would constitute an act of non-compliance that may incur the civil and / or criminal liability of its author. “Algérie Poste” reserves the right to take legal action against any offender.
No one of the provisions stated in the present conditions can be understood as an assignment by “Algérie Poste” or as a transfer, a sale, a concession, a license, a loan, a rent or a use permission that is granted directly or indirectly, on the mobile application or on its content, and / or services, for the benefit of the user.
“Algérie Poste” grants the user a personal right to use the application and its content and services. This personal right of use is non-exclusive, revocable, non-assignable and non-transferable.
It is severely forbidden for the user to access and / or use the source code of the application and / or its software components.
The user doesn’t acquire any intellectual property rights over the application, its content and / or its services, nor any other rights than those which are conferred by the present conditions.
This license doesn’t confer any right of use on the content. The user is therefore prohibited from reproducing, representing, adapting and / or using the content.
The user expressly undertakes that the use of the application doesn’t in any way affect the rights of “Algérie Poste”, and in particular that such use doesn’t constitute an act of counterfeiting, unfair or parasitic competition content.
“Algérie Poste” can hang up the use of the application at any time. In the occurrence of suspension of the application, the rights and the licenses granted to the user will be concluded and he will have to stop any use of the application.
The user clearly agrees:
- To download the application on its device for a strictly personal and non-commercial use, without a direct or an indirect profit.
- To repay, without delay, to “Algérie Poste”, the amounts of the operations carried out while the balance of his account was insufficient;
- To accept the direct debit of the charges incurred in using "BARIDI MOB" Application.
- To acknowledge having read the terms and conditions of use of the Application.
The user clearly agrees to receive, through the application, promotions, practical information and / or advertising messages related to the activities of “Algérie Poste” or its partners.
Any fraudulent or illegal use of the application exposes the user concerned to sanctions and criminal prosecution provided for by the legislation in force.
“Algérie Poste” guarantees that the application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" is provided, at the source at its technical services, free from any design or software development defect.
“Algérie Poste” undertakes, within the limits of its prerogatives and responsibilities, to take care of all the technical and administrative provisions necessary and obligatory in order to make available to the user a version of the application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB", free from any design defect or computer development defect.
The user recognizes that the publication of the application “BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" for download is done via the Internet, on the virtual Stores sites. The user recognizes too that he is aware of the risks associated with the use of the internet and the mobile network, which may cause an alteration or modification of the official and initial version of the Application.
Therefore, “Algérie Poste” can’t be held responsible for these alterations or modifications. The original and official version of the application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB", available at “Algérie Poste”, is the only standard.
13.1 RISKS ON "CONTENT" AND "SERVICES" OF THE APPLICATION
- "Algérie Poste" undertakes to set up all the technical pre-requisites so that the information it communicates is in its full form, as soon as it is released to the source of the technical platform, to be displayed in the application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB”.
The user recognizes that this information, when crossing the Internet network and the mobile network, may be altered or modified.Therefore, they must be considered as indicative and non-contractual information and can not engage the responsibility of Algérie Poste, excepting those communicated to the user by another official channel.
- "Algérie Poste" also reserves the right to make improvements and / or modifications to the application at any time and without notice.
- This version of the application "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" can be updated from time to time in aim to add new content and / or new services, without any prior information to the user.
13.2 USER RISKS
- By using the application, the user assumes all the negative consequences that could cause the application, following a mistake or an input error.
- Each user should take all appropriate measures to protect his own data and / or software stored on his equipment (phone, mobile terminal...) against any damage (malfunction, virus, hacking,…).
Responsibility for “Algérie Poste” can’t be engaged for:
- Damage of any kind, direct or unintended, resulting from the use or inability to use the application, in particular any functioning loss, financial or commercial loss, loss of programs and / or data, mainly in the user application’s information system.
- Damage of any kind, direct or unintended, resulting from the content and / or use or inability to use websites related to the application, or to which users could access via the application.
- “Algérie Poste” declines any responsibility in case of a wrong use of the terminal and / or any incident related to the use of the terminal, when using the application.
- “Algérie Poste” can’t be held responsible for any damage of any nature caused to users, their terminals, their computer and telephone equipment and the data stored therein. It can’t be hold responsible too for the damages caused on their personal, professional or commercial activity.
13.3 RISKS ON THE "INTERNET NETWORK"
- The user declares to know and to accept the limits and the problems of the internet network, for which the responsibility of “Algérie Poste” can’t be engaged, in particular the limits and / or the problems related to the internet network and / or to the web sites (interruption, malfunction, unavailability, response time of pages viewed and / or displayed), related to the risks of data hacking or contamination by possible viruses.
The applicable Terms of Use shall be those in force on the date of use of "BARIDIMOB / BARIDIWEB" application by the user.
“Algérie Poste” reserves the right to modify all or a part of the provisions stated in terms and conditions at any time, without a prior notice or information to users. Modifications are operated in order to adapt these terms & conditions to the changes in services, to the technical, legal or jurisprudential developments or when setting in place other new services.
Any changes made by “Algérie Poste” in conditions will be notified to users by publishing them online. Changes are estimated approved, unreservedly, by any user who accesses the application after them publishing and posting. “Algérie Poste” informs the users of the mobile application "BARIDI MOB" that they are required to consult these Terms of Use regularly.

These General Terms of Use are subject to Algerian law and this is both substantive rules for the formal rules, notwithstanding the place in which the fundamental or subsidiary obligations are performed.
Any dispute or contentious matters relating to the execution or the understanding of the present rules, which could not be settled agreeably between the parts, will be submitted to the territorially competent court in accordance with the Algerian Law.
In the context of these terms and conditions of use, the applicable laws, regulations and legislation are from:
- Order Numb. 75-58 of 20th Ramadhan 1395 corresponding to 26th September 1975 on the Civil Code, as modified and completed.
- Order Numb. 66-156 of 8th June 1966 on the Criminal Code, as amended and completed.
- Law 2000-03 of Joumada El Oula 1421 corresponding to August 5th , 2000, setting the general rules relating to post office & telecommunications.
- Law 04-02 of 5th Joumada El Oula 1425 corresponding to June 23rd, 2004 fixing the rules dealing with business practices.
- Order numb. 03-05 of 19th Joumada El Oula 1424 corresponding to the July 19th, 2003 related to copyright and related rights.
